Do you have a brick and mortar store?
NO, ChicagoCopShop.com does not have a brick and mortar store. All business is conducted online through our Chicago Cop Shop website. CLICK HERE to visit our online store. From time to time, the Chicago Cop Shop participates in collectible shows and special events.

ORDERS


I did not receive everything I ordered. Where's my stuff?
If you ordered an item that was marked as “Made to Order” on it’s product page, then those items will arrive separately. We do not stock these items. The items are manufactured when ordered and usually ship out from our fulfillment centers in 3 to 10 business days or less. If you ordered multiple made to order items they may be sourced from different vendors and as such will ship out in separate shipments. You will be notified by e-mail when these items ship and tracking numbers will also be provided.

If this is not the case and the items missing were not made to order please contact us and we will assist in resolving the matter. The best and fastest way to receive a response is by email. You can email us at info@chicagocop.com.

I see an item can be backordered, how long will it take my order to ship out?
If you ordered an item that was marked as “can be backordered” on it’s product page, then those items will be ordered from our supplier upon receipt of your order. Generally we receive the items within 7 days and will ship out right away. On a rare occasion it may take longer to receive the items from our suppliers.

I see an item marked as made to order, how long will it take my order to ship out?
If you ordered an item that was marked as “Made to Order” on it’s product page, then those items will be ordered from a fulfillment center upon receipt of your order. A separate shipping charge will be applied for these items as they will ship out separately from in stock items. Generally made to order items are ship out within 7 days directly from our supplier. On a rare occasion it may take longer to receive the items from our suppliers.

SHIPPING


I checked my tracking number and USPS shows my shipment status as "Pre-Shipment - Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item" or "Label Created, not yet in system." It's been a week since I ordered, what gives?
If your tracking status with USPS shows as “Pre-Shipment – Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item” or “Label Created, not yet in system” it’s likely your order has been misplaced or lost in the USPS system. This tracking status indicates that your package hasn’t been scanned into the USPS system yet. USPS has no way to verify if a package has been shipped until it has been scanned into their system. This is why they place the following disclaimer, “This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date” in the tracking details.

We ship all orders the same or next day. Just because USPS lists a shipment status as “Pre-Shipment – Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item” or “Label Created, not yet in system” does not mean your item(s) weren’t shipped.

If this is the case you can submit a Find My Missing Mail Claim with USPS 7 Business Days after the label was created HERE. You will need your tracking number and shipping address information. Once the claim is filed USPS will begin searching their system for your package. Once it is found the tracking information will be updated.

Once your claim is filed you can also set up Text & E-mail Updates for your shipment. You will be notified anytime your tracking status is updated. To set this up track your shipment at USPS.com and click “Text & E-mail Updates” just above your Tracking History.

Please keep in mind that we have no control over this situation, and do apologize in advance for any inconvenience. Understand that USPS processes millions of parcels a day and items do get lost or misplaced. The system is not perfect.

My expected delivery date was scheduled three days ago and I haven't received my items. Where's my stuff?
Expected delivery dates are not guarantee’s that your items will be delivered on that date. The expected delivery date is the calculated delivery date based on distance from the shipper and delivery address in an ideal and perfect world scenario. This date does not and can not account for delivery delays caused by weather, lost mail and other unexpected occurrences.

I want to track my order. Where can I get my Tracking Number?
Your tracking number is emailed to you once we mark your order as complete. You may also receive a separate e-mail from EasyPost, Paypal or USPS with your tracking number. We create and print our shipping labels through EasyPost and/or Paypal.
